Privacy Policy

Tree Service Niagara takes the privacy of the people who contact us seriously. This page sets out what we gather when you use the site or phone us, what we do with it, and the choices you have. It's written to meet the requirements of PIPEDA, the federal privacy law that covers businesses in Ontario.

Information We Gather

  • Details you type into a form or tell us on the phone: name, phone, town, a description of the tree work and, only if you want to give it, an email address.
  • Call details: the phone number shown on this site runs through a call-tracking service. It logs when a call came in, how long it lasted and which page or search led to it, and calls may be recorded for quality and training.
  • Browsing data: cookies and similar tools tell us things like the device and browser in use, the pages viewed and the website that sent you here. This data isn't used to identify you.

How It's Used

Mainly to answer you: to arrange an estimate, plan and carry out the work, and follow up afterwards. Browsing data, looked at in bulk, helps us see which pages are useful. Your details are never sold or rented to anyone.

Service Providers and Partners

A few outside companies help run this site, and some of them handle personal information on our behalf:

  • Formspree, which receives what you submit through our forms and delivers it to us
  • WhatConverts, which tracks calls and form leads so we can see where enquiries come from
  • The independent tree company that does the work. Our Referral Marketing Disclosure explains this arrangement.

We'll also release information if a court order or another legal requirement obliges us to. Some of these providers store information outside Canada, mostly in the U.S., where local authorities may be able to access it under their own laws.

Keeping and Protecting It

Information about an enquiry or a job is kept for as long as it's needed to serve you, deal with any later questions about the work, and meet tax and record-keeping rules. After that it's deleted. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it while we hold it.

Your Rights

You're entitled to find out what personal information we have about you, to have mistakes fixed and, where the law permits, to have it erased. Browser settings let you block or clear cookies. Send any privacy request using the contact form; you'll have an answer within 30 days.

Updates

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
